Using the lock in the correct manner is essential to keeping everyone happy… especially those boats waiting in the queue behind you. Incorrect useage can mean a substantial delay to those waiting. Please read and comply with the instructions, especially the part regarding locking the lock after you have passed through. Failure to “lock the lock” means a 10 minute wait for those other boats while the lock re- sets… not a way to win friends!
